Here’s a hack you won’t find anywhere else!
When you are at a school library in Georgia and you are discussing the differences in plants and trees between the Florida Everglades and South Georgia, NEVER dispute a second-grader. For example, coconut trees in Georgia? Pay attention to the seven-year-old expert.
Readers always win.

FlatRose is at the Orlando Airport and is ready for her next travel adventure! L., E., and Rose are going to Portugal and Spain. First stop – Lisbon!
Pink Baby Alligator is waving to her fans as they stroll by. Or maybe she’s bidding everyone happy travels.
#FlatRose took her new assignment as Marketing Assistant seriously at the I Heart Books signing event in Jacksonville, FL.
When folks stepped close enough to snitch a piece of candy, Rose directed them to the opportunity to be eligible for our drawing for a free book, Sweet Deal Sealed, and the opportunity to be among the first to know when The Girl Who Saw Clouds is published. Triple bonus!
She was a little embarrassed for the balloon creature that was supposed to be an alligator, according to the balloon guy. Rose was heard to whisper it looked more like an anteater.
Rose was supposed to go with me to Kansas to a meeting. When I got there, I couldn’t find her. I looked all through my luggage. No Rose.
I asked some people at the meeting, “Have you seen Rose?”
“Rose who?” they asked, as they clutched their Pink Baby Alligator books.
I wanted to take a picture of Rose. With me. In Kansas. No Rose anywhere. Definitely not in Kansas.
On my flight home, I got a text.
“Found Rose. She couldn’t find pink flamingos to hide with so she hid in the pink flowers.”
There she is!
Flat Pink Baby Alligator is traveling in Japan. Mt. Fuji is awesome. At first, the peak seems to be another cloud, but then when you look again, there it is!
Flat Rose rode on a bus to go see Mt. Fuji.
Traveling in Japan is amazing!

It was bound to happen. Pink Baby Alligator has gone Hollywood on us! I’m sure she’ll stay her own sweet self and not forget her little people. Isn’t that what all the Big Stars say?
Pink Baby Alligator visited the Cabrillo Marine Aquarium with her Southern California friends. Do you see the seahorses checking her out? Carbrillo Aquarium is the most beautiful ever! After all, Pink!
It’s Spring! Once again, Walt Disney World outdoes themselves at the Flower and Garden Festival. Beautiful flowers, beautiful day. Big thanks to Landy for taking #FlatRose to Epcot!
Pink Baby Alligator was invited to an Easter Cookie Decorating Gala in Southern California. Aren’t they gorgeous! Can you tell which ones are her favorites?
And can you guess who might be helping her with her photographic pose? Of course – the Pink and Blue Easter Honey Bunny!
Pink Baby Alligator is in California, Dog Sitting Baron. Well, technically Pink Baby Alligator is sitting ON Baron, but let’s not split dog hairs.
Sweet Baron, who is saying with a look, “Haven’t you people heard of letting sleeping dogs lie?”
